This is the most cost-effective option for delivery from China

Shipping by sea suits entrepreneurs who are ready to wait for their cargo for about two months in order to save a lot on shipping. For example, in March 2021, we delivered 300 kilograms of children's toys. This cost our client about $1000, and the goods arrived in 60 days. Air delivery would take up to two weeks, but would cost about $3,000.

The price depends on many factors: the cargo size, the amount of customs payments, and the type of goods.

Our customers send a wide variety of goods: from mobile accessories and lamps to pillows and pet products. But most often, they carry different equipment. We do not transport what is prohibited by the legislation.

This is beneficial for cargo from 20 kg

We can bring you half a kilogram of goods, but it is not reasonable. Delivery of cargo weight up to 2 kilograms will cost from $ 10. The same price will be for air transportation. Sometimes we deliver cargo weighing 4 or 8 kilograms, but it is more profitable to ship cargo by sea from 20-30 kg.

For example, we recently shipped a 25-kilogram thermopress for printing by sea. It costs $105, including customs fees. Delivery of 31 kilograms of pillows costs $195. And a ton of 3D pens was transported for $1800.

The largest cargo we transported was a 13-meter-long truck crane weighing 45 tons. Such cargo cannot fit in a container, so it is delivered on the deck of a sea vessel.

Plan for delivery about two or three months in advance

Do not delay the order of goods until the last moment. It is better to calculate delivery time with the reserve, taking into account possible force majeure, which can change your plans. For example, 369 vessels got stuck in April because of traffic jams in the Suez Canal. This has affected both the term and the cost of delivery.

We recommend that you plan the purchase at least 80 days before you need to receive the product.

The shipping date may be affected by additional checks by Chinese customs, lack of space on the container ship, and several other factors. Therefore, sometimes we can postpone the shipment to next week. But we declare delivery terms taking this into account.

The supplier will take care of the documents for customs

For transportation, we must have all the information about the cargo's quantity, weight, composition, and cost. This is necessary so that we can correctly declare the cargo at the customs.

Such information is usually contained in the invoices and packing slips with which the Chinese supplier accompanies its shipments. If the information is insufficient, we will write down what else needs to be ordered from the supplier.

If you need to order goods from different suppliers, you do not need to take them to the same warehouse

It is better to issue separate cargo orders from different suppliers to identify them correctly. And then deliver each order to the nearest warehouse in China — you won't have to transport them together.

If the product is damaged, we will return 100% of its value

Such situations rarely occur if customs officers decide to inspect the container especially thoroughly. But we are ready to return 100% of the value of the damaged product if something happens to it on the road. We care about our reputation.

Shipping costs cannot change en route
