How to buy cheap restaurant equipment in China

In Kyiv, the restaurant was preparing to open. The chef handed over a list of equipment needed to work in the kitchen to the facility's chief engineer. He advised him to check the technical characteristics of the positions in China and order them there in order to reduce the cost.

Situation

The project engineer was already involved in purchasing for the previous establishments of the network. Before that, he bought Chinese equipment in Ukraine or ordered Italian, which was also assembled in China.

The chef was familiar with the purchasing specialist in China and recommended him to a colleague. So the engineer handed the search for a stove, steamer, deep fat, a special oven, refrigeration, and freezing equipment to reliable hands. Without experience, it is difficult to find a supplier in China on your own, and inspecting goods from Ukraine is impossible.

Stage 1

Stage 2

Stage 3

When the container with restaurant equipment was loaded on board the ship, we continued to monitor its movement. At this time, we agreed with forwarders in Ukraine on the terms of transportation across the country and delivery to the client's warehouse in Kyiv. The container ship had to be of a certain length and width in order to enter the enterprise and ship the goods.

Stage 4

After the container's arrival at the port, the procedure of forwarding and customs clearance of the cargo began. Immediately after customs clearance, the container left for Kyiv and the next day was in the warehouse of the future restaurant.

Everything was agreed upon and thought out in advance. Issues that could arise were resolved before the cargo crossed the Ukrainian border. For example, a car for transportation across Ukraine was selected according to the client's requirements while the ship was sailing on the sea.
