What is more profitable to buy in China

Yuri, a manufacturer of paper cups from Ternopil, has become our regular customer, repeatedly buying parts for his machine in China. Production volumes - 40-50 pieces per minute (depending on the volume of produced cups).

Situation

The equipment in the customer's shop frequently broke down. It was necessary to change parts that are difficult to find in Ukraine. The machine was bought a long time ago, it became more difficult and expensive to maintain, and due to frequent malfunctions, production volumes decreased

The M3Cargo manager suggested that the client study the prices in the Chinese market and consider replacing the equipment with a new one. Yuri liked the idea. It turned out that he was already used to changing parts and did not seriously think about the fact that he could bring a whole machine from China. It seemed complicated and expensive.

Stage 1

Consultation on the search for equipment

Manager Alexander told Yuri how to find a machine with the required parameters on Alibaba and what to look for in order to make the deal profitable and the purchase successful.

Stage 2

Initial communication with a Chinese supplier

Yuri found a supplier who seemed suitable to him. The manager helped to contact him and choose a machine, the productivity of which was 80-100 pieces per minute (which is twice as much as the machine with which the client worked in Ternopil).

Stage 3

Delivery and customs clearance

The supplier brought the machine to our consolidation warehouse, which was then loaded into a container and delivered to Ukraine. After customs clearance, it was sent to Ternopil for the client's production.

Final result
  1. The entrepreneur received a machine, which allowed to increase production volumes.
  2. Saved money and time. There was no need to buy components, search for them, and to wait for delivery.
  3. The first machine performed well. After 5 months, Yuri decided to expand production and ordered another one.
